Award winning in 2025: Regional success for Keigar Homes

We are delighted to share that Keigar Homes has been recognized by LABC in the 2025 regional awards. The Falcon in North Lincolnshire was named Best High Volume New Housing Development, reflecting thoughtful design, precise execution, and lasting value for local families. Alongside this project award, Neal Platt, our senior architectural technician, received Construction Specialist of the Year, a personal honour that recognizes technical excellence and a collaborative approach with Building Control. These awards showcase the strength of our team and our commitment to build quality in the communities we serve.

Once a difficult brownfield site, The Falcon is now a beautiful neighbourhood with safe streets, green spaces and well planned homes. We removed hazards, restored the land, and created eco friendly habitats with native planting and pollinator corridors. Disused space has become a vibrant community with quality materials, strong energy performance and a welcoming sense of place.

What these awards represent

LABC awards are judged by experienced Building Control professionals who understand how real homes must perform for local people. Their recognition is an independent endorsement of the standards we work to every day. For Keigar, success at LABC is never about a trophy. It is about doing the right things well. Considered layout and specification that make daily living easier. Careful detailing that protects against drafts and damp. Respect for neighbours and local character. Pride in the craft that our trades bring to every plot. These are the quiet standards that stand up to inspection and stand the test of time.

On to London for the national stage

As regional winners, Keigar Homes and Neal Platt now progress to the LABC Grand Finals, where the best from across England and Wales are celebrated together. The national ceremony will take place on Friday 23 January 2026 at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House, Park Lane, London. It is a special evening that brings together the people and projects that raise standards across our industry. We look forward to representing North Lincolnshire on the national stage and to sharing the outcome with our customers, partners, and colleagues.

Looking back: Keigar Homes wins National Master Builder of the year 2021

In 2021, Keigar Homes received one of the highest distinctions in UK residential construction when the The Federation of Master Builders honoured our Manor Farm development in Ulceby for its exceptional quality, craftsmanship, and customer satisfaction.

A landmark moment in Keigar history

For a regional house-builder, few awards carry more weight than the Master Builder National House Builder of the Year Award. We proudly received that title in recognition of our excellence in site delivery, customer care, and compliance with building regulations. The award followed years of consistent work across developments throughout Lincolnshire and the surrounding area, where Keigar Homes has long been known for reliability and quality.

Why we were chosen

The Federation considered a wide range of criteria, including construction standards, health and safety, site culture, working relationships with local authorities, and customer feedback. What stood out to the judging panel was Keigar’s focus on taking “…great care to use the existing structures as a stylistic template, the team at Keigar Homes Ltd built five new homes that complemented the area’s rural charm.” The judges said Keigar Homes is “a house builder that is unafraid to take on projects in difficult circumstances,” and were impressed by the clever use of materials and detailing to enhance the visual appeal of the new properties.

2024 marked 30 years since Keigar Homes began building high-quality homes across Lincolnshire and the surrounding area. We take a look back at our journey, the values that shaped us, and the vision we are taking forward into the next chapter.

Today, Keigar Homes remains privately owned and proudly regional, delivering thoughtful developments and homes people want to live in.

Over the past three decades, we have completed thousands of homes in towns and villages across the region. We have received multiple awards, regionally and nationally. We also follow ISO9001 management systems to maintain our rigorous commitment to quality. Yet our proudest moments come from the letters, messages, and conversations with families who love their Keigar home. Sounds corny, but there it is.
